Born and raised along the Gulf Coast, I grew to love weather, especially during hurricane season.  After high school, I spent 4 years in the US Army working as a communications specialist.  I then received my first degree in Broadcasting and worked behind the scenes in television production.  I then moved to Denver where I chased severe storms, worked as a Weather Research Assistant for the National Center for Atmospheric Research, and earned my BS in Meteorology.  My goal is to tell the most accurate weather story and share my knowledge to make a difference in my community.
